“There is no chip in the world built without the touch of an Indian engineer,” Tripathi said, pointing to India’s embedded role in the global semiconductor ecosystem.
He argued that India’s opportunity lies in combining scale, talent, and data with strategic intent, particularly across AI, cybersecurity, quantum technologies, and advanced computing, while balancing competitiveness with responsible AI development.
