Arastu Sharma is applying AI to materials science and energy-storage innovation. Founder and CEO of Shodh AI, he works at the intersection of imaging, machine learning and neural networks, with a research background that includes a PhD from the University of Cambridge in collaboration with Microsoft. 

Shodh AI’s Project Skanda, selected under the IndiaAI Mission, aims to build mesoscale foundation models for battery and energy-storage research with support from NVIDIA technologies. The goal is to accelerate materials discovery and manufacturing workflows, where progress is often slow, expensive and technically complex.
