Ajai Chowdhry brings decades of technology-industry experience to India’s strategic technology agenda. As co-founder of HCL Technologies Ltd and chairman of the Mission Governing Board of the National Quantum Mission, he is associated with the country’s push to build deeper domestic capability in advanced computing, electronics and emerging technologies.
His work is relevant to AI because the next phase of AI capability will depend not only on models and software, but also on compute infrastructure, hardware, secure systems and long-term R&D capacity.
Chowdhry’s work points to the broader technology base India will need as AI, quantum computing and secure digital infrastructure become increasingly connected.
