Archana Jahagirdar is the Founder and Managing Partner of Rukam Capital, an early-stage venture capital firm investing in consumer-focused startups in India. Since establishing the firm in 2019, she has led investments in companies across food and beverage, personal care, and consumer brands, including Sleepy Owl, Pilgrim and Curefoods.
Prior to founding Rukam Capital, Jahagirdar worked with the Indian Angel Network, where she focused on early-stage deal sourcing and accelerator initiatives. She also founded Bootstrap Incubation and Advisory Foundation, a non-profit initiative aimed at strengthening founder-investor networks and early-stage ecosystem development.
Beyond investing, she has played a visible role in ecosystem-building initiatives, including organizing New Delhi Slush’d, India’s edition of Slush Helsinki, and contributing to Startup Mahakumbh. Rukam Capital recently expanded with Rukam Sitara, a ₹100 crore technology-focused fund aimed at supporting emerging ventures.
