Aditi Avasthi is the Founder and former CEO of Embibe, an AI-driven education technology platform focused on personalized learning at scale. Founded in 2012, Embibe combines data science, behavioral insights and content architecture to improve student outcomes across competitive exams and school education. Reliance Industries acquired a majority stake in Embibe in 2018 and committed additional investment.
Under Avasthi’s leadership, Embibe built a large tagged STEM content repository and proprietary personalization engines designed to diagnose learning gaps and optimize study pathways. The platform reports engagement across millions of learners in India, spanning public and private institutions, and has expanded its footprint beyond test preparation into broader digital learning infrastructure.
Before founding Embibe, Avasthi worked across banking and technology, including roles at Barclays and Tata Consultancy Services in the UK and Africa. She holds a graduate business degree from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business, an undergraduate degree in Electronics from Thapar University, and executive education credentials from Harvard Kennedy School. She is a Young Global Leader of the World Economic Forum.
