Founded in 2011 and based in Bengaluru, Prime Venture Partners is an early-stage venture firm focused on seed and Series A investments in software, fintech, and business-to-consumer technology. As of 2024, Prime has backed about 60 startups, with portfolio companies spanning enterprise SaaS, financial infrastructure, and consumer platforms. Its exit record includes one IPO and several acquisitions, anchored by Ezetap, Happay, and Recko.
Prime typically leads the first institutional round and is known for concentrated ownership in core bets. The firm frequently co-invests with funds such as 3one4 Capital, Accel, and Blume Ventures.
In recent years, Prime has continued to deploy from its fourth fund, which it closed at $100 million in 2022. Across its fund history, the firm manages about $300 million in assets and has participated in 100+ investment rounds.
