Kae Capital, established in 2012 and headquartered in Mumbai, is one of India’s pioneer early‑stage venture funds. The sector‑agnostic firm invests from pre‑seed to pre‑Series A and prides itself on being an “all‑weather partner” for founders. Its official materials emphasize support for technology startups and a commitment to partnering closely with entrepreneurs.
Over the past decade, Kae has backed more than 79 startups and helped build companies such as Zetwerk, Tata 1mg and Porter. Recent investments include a $1.7 million seed round in advertising‑tech platform Quickads, reflecting its willingness to support founders from concept through scale. The firm provides hands‑on assistance through an extensive network of operators and mentors.
Kae manages about $250 million and operates with a 35‑person team, including 13 partners. It has participated in over 160 funding rounds and frequently co‑invests with platforms such as Kalysta Capital. With offices in both Mumbai and Bengaluru, Kae taps into talent pools across India’s start‑up hubs.
