Tarafdar leads the company’s technology vision and strategy, drives adoption of emerging technologies, and partners with clients on large-scale digital transformation. He founded and heads the Strategic Technology Group, a 3,000+ member global team of technology leaders, architects, and programmers delivering complex cloud, digital, and AI programs for Infosys and its clients.
He has over 25 years of experience, spanning product engineering, consulting, and technology leadership across manufacturing, banking, retail, consumer goods, and logistics sectors. He graduated in mechanical engineering and earlier spearheaded Infosys’s internal transformation into a digital-native “Live Enterprise.” He led the development and rollout of digital platforms impacting over 100 million users. Tarafdar co-authored the book “The Live Enterprise” and several influential technology papers.
