HCL Technologies Ltd has won a $1.14 billion contract from a Europe-headquartered Fortune Global 50 company to transform and manage the customer’s global digital workplace and enterprise network operations.
The company did not name the client.
The agreement will run from July 2026 to December 2031, with an option to extend it by another five years.
HCLTech said the contract is entirely net new business, not an extension or renewal of an existing deal.
The company said it will deploy an AI-driven operating model under the partnership, underscoring continued demand for AI-led IT operations and workplace modernization among large enterprises.
The announcement lifted HCLTech shares by as much as 6.3% on Friday, while the Nifty IT index rose 2.7%.
The deal comes ahead of HCLTech’s first-quarter FY2027 results, due on 13 July.
The company has guided for 1% to 4% revenue growth this financial year.
