India has roughly one neurologist for every 500,000 people. In rural areas, the ratio is far worse. Intellihealth, operating under the NeuroDX brand, is building technology to address the gap. The company’s MANAS1 model analyzes EEG biosignals to identify early indicators of epilepsy and dementia. It is trained on over 60,000 hours of brainwave data from more than 25,000 patients and processes 400 million parameters.
Led by neurologist Dr Puneet Agarwal and backed by the IndiaAI Mission under MeitY, MANAS1 identifies neurological conditions before they become visible through conventional imaging.
Founders Siddharth Panwar and Kailash Sati are building across neural, cardiac, and autonomic biosignals. This is not a product competing for a market share in a crowded category. It is infrastructure for a healthcare system with no other viable option in the regions that need it most.
