Geetha Manjunath, Founder, CEO and Managing Director of NIRAMAI Health Analytix, has led the development of an AI-based breast cancer screening solution. This is non-invasive, radiation-free, and designed to work at scale, addressing one of the biggest gaps in early detection, especially in resource-constrained settings.
A gold medalist and PhD from the Indian Institute of Science, with additional management training from Kellogg, she brings more than three decades of experience in IT and AI innovation. Before turning entrepreneur, she led advanced research teams as Lab Director for AI Research at Xerox and as a Principal Scientist at Hewlett-Packard Labs, building a strong foundation in applied AI and product-driven research.
Geetha’s work has earned recognition in technology, healthcare, and entrepreneurship. She received the CSI Gold Medal, BIRAC WinER Award, and Accenture Vahini Innovator of the Year, and was named to Forbes’ Top 20 Self-Made Women in 2020. With over 50 US patents, she shows how AI research can be turned into solutions for public health.
