As the Founding Partner at Sixth Sense Ventures, Swati Mehra dedicates her time to supporting early-stage consumer and technology enterprises. Over a career spanning fourteen years in investment, she has collaborated closely with founders from initial stages through to publicly listed companies, assisting in brand development, market definition, and maintaining a focus on long-term value over transient trends.
At Sixth Sense, Mehra runs the full investment arc, from sourcing and research to portfolio support and exits. Her sector exposure cuts across FMCG, education, media, technology, agri, and financial exchanges, reflecting a belief that consumer behaviour, not just technology, is the real driver of durable businesses.
Before turning investor, Mehra worked in investment research at IDFC Securities, where she focused on consumer companies and earned a reputation for differentiated analysis. Her writing and frameworks, such as Changing DNA and If I Were, are known for breaking down how consumer companies evolve and where they often get stuck.
